LFW Exhibition

Dear LFW, please please please settle into one location and stop moving around. We had just got used to going to the Natural History Museum and then you drag us kicking and screaming to not one but TWO seperate venues in The Strand. What the eff are you playing at? The rabbit warren that is Somerset House is just not suitable to view collections if you are actually buying. We couldn't remember where anything was so in the end we gave up and will be contacting the designers direct. When push comes to shove, it's a trade fair and it needs to be accessible and easy to get round in a hurry. LFW consider yourself told. Rant ends.

Anyhoo, we picked up some stunning jewellery from Jacey Withers, hefty silver necklaces and bracelets with leopards and monkeys and foxes on them. Can't wait to get them in. Also picked up Disney Couture jewellery - cute as cute can be. Will be getting it in sometime in Nov so will blog more about it then.

Elizabeth Lau knitwear makes us smile.

Whilst we here at nola love all things fierce and sharp, we also have a soft spot for the cutesy too.

We've just had a delivery from Elizabth Lau, the fashionistas favourite knitwear designer. Her AW09 collection is so so pretty and wearable. Cute jumper dresses that look amazing with flat boots or huge heels and some of the most adorable cardis on this planet. F.A.C.T.

We particularly love the rossette jumper dress "Natasha" priced at £200 and the sweet "Sugarplum" cardi priced at £150. Both are available on our website http://www.nolaboutique.co.uk/ Don't forget we are offering FREE P&P during September. Because we're nice.

Off to Fashion Week on Monday to pick up some jewellery and have a looksee at what's going on in this crazy fashion world. Luella show here we come......x

New Bloch lace up boots and shoes in store!

So, there I was, doing my paperwork like a good girl when Mr Delivery Man pops through the door with two curious boxes. " What can this be?" I ask myself, (expecting a boring paper bag delivery). I sign for the boxes with a flourish when I see the "Bloch" packing tape and push Mr Delivery Man out of the door. As much as I love the Bloch ballet flats that we stock, the lace up boots and black and white heeled shoes are a joy to behold. The boots are leather and patent and lace up the front, but, they fasten at the side with a zip. They are priced at a really reasonable £185. The shoes are made from the softest of leather and have patent leather toe cap, priced at £160. Both look absolutely stunning with leggings and big chunky cardigans, or as Grazia is saying, "coatigan". Now it's the difficult decision on which to buy for me........Rx
